Day trips to Zanzibar Stone Town are the perfect chance to discover the Swahili culture, a happy mix of Africa, and Arabia. Explore the winding narrow streets of Stone Town, classified as World Cultural Heritage, with ancient buildings, superb balconies, amazing sculptured doors, mosques, palaces and Livingstone’s House, among many other remarkable features.
Spend a day at Bawe’s sister island, Prison Island, which is a contemporary style’ island resort for nature lovers, with a tortoise sanctuary for the Giant Aldabra Tortoises and artfully restored 19th century colonial buildings.
This once upon a time’ Quarantine Island was formerly owned by an Arab and used as a private place of detention for slaves. It was bought by General Mathews and the jail (recently fully restored) was built in 1893 as a central prison in Zanzibar. It was however never utilized as such. The island was later on the quarantine station for Zanzibar, Kenya, Uganda and Tanganyika territories. There are small gazelles in the bush and birds and fauna which are not to be seen other parts of Zanzibar.

Its 15 magnificent cottages are discretely scattered along the beach line, all of them with panoramic views of the clear waters of the Indian Ocean, ensuring maximum privacy and seclusion.
The cottages, situated to make them feel like a part of the surrounded landscape, are built on local traditional materials and topped with thatched roofs, allowing the invigorating sea breeze to circulate and affording cool atmosphere day and night.
The spacious cottages host magnificent dhow type of beds equipped with mosquito nets. The tasteful interiors, known as los colores given their warm combination of soft colours (greens, yellows, oranges, grape fruit) are elegantly decorated and they all contain ensuite bathrooms, all with double basin, 2 al fresco showers and bathtub.

Rates Include
All rates shown are per room/suite and includes all taxes. Rates are based on All Inclusive.
All Inclusive basis includes dinner, bed, breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks (except champagne). Tips, motorized water sports and excursions are also not included.
Airport Transfer
Rates are inclusive of return airport transfers.
Mandatory Supplement
-There is a mandatory supplement of USD 40.00 per person for all stays that include the 31st December 2007.
-For the 4 days of Easter, a supplement of USD 15.00 per person per day is applicable.

For your convenience, Internet Hotel Rental Group offers secure online payments with the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please note that, should you prefer, you are able to supply your credit card information by fax. We are unable to accept your reservation request without credit card details, though you will only be billed once your booking has been confirmed, the credit card information verified and our confirmation voucher sent to you by email.
For all reservations
-Upon confirmation, the full amount will be charged.
Cancellation Policy
-If cancellation is received 32 days or more prior to arrival, then a 70% of the full amount will be lost.
-Cancellations received 31 days or less will result in the full amount being charged as a cancellation fee.
-No shows will result on the full amount being charged as a cancellation fee.
Children Policy
-Children under the age of 16 are not allowed in this hotel.

Price & Payment
Unless otherwise stated, at the time of booking only a deposit is due. The remanining balance is payable on check-in and charged by the hotel direct. hotel-savings.com accepts Visa, Mastercard & American Express.
For security purposes, should your reservation incur a charge in excess of USD 400.00, you must submit a signed credit card authorization form. This will be supplied upon confirmation of the reservation. If you fail to fax across this documentation within 48 hours, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Please note that as per our cancellation policy, there may be a fee for this.
Flight Information
If you are to arrive at your hotel after 5pm, please provide Hotelrentalgroup with your flight information, so that we may be able to advise the hotel of what time they can expect you. Should your flight be delayed, we strongly recommend that you contact the hotel directly to inform them of this.
Period of Stay / Rate Calculation
All stays are calculated and sold "per night". We can only guarantee a room until noon (12pm). Late check-outs can be requested at the moment of reservation in the additional comments box, but may come at an additional fee (usually 50% of the nightly rate).
Cancellation Policies & Charges
Cancellations must be received in writing by e-mail, with as much notice as possible. Penalty fees may apply. Please check the terms & conditions, as these policies vary from hotel to hotel.
Cancellation Charges On All Reservations
-On all confirmed reservations, 20% of the total amount will be lost.
-Further cancellation charges may apply depending on the hotel.

No Shows
No Shows will result in a 100% penalty fee.
Reservation & Confirmation
All reservations made on the web sites operated by hotel-savings.com will receive a temporary confirmation number. This temporary number does not mean that the hotel room is available and is only for administrative purposes. Your final confirmation will be sent to you on your official confirmation voucher within 24 hours, unless, due to unforeseen circumstances, the hotel does not get back to us within this time frame. hotel-savings.com is not responsible for any such delays.
Early departures
In addition to the standard cancellation policy, we would like to stress the point that the hotels are very strict regarding changes to the length of clients’ stays. Therefore we would like to inform you that clients departing before their booked check out date will be charged for the remaining nights and, no being made for unused nights.
Check In & Check Out Policy
Your room will be made available to you from 14h00 (unless stated otherwise in the terms & conditions of the hotel). Should you require a guaranteed early check in, the room must be booked and paid for in full for the day preceeding your stay.
Check out time is 12:00 hrs. For a guaranteed late check-out, clients should book for an additional night, charged at 100%.

hotel-savings.com sources hotels from various hotel companies in the countries in which it operates. The condition of the stay will be subject to the law of the country in which it is supplied to you. You will be subject to its terms and conditions and local law.
hotel-savings.com reserves the right to pass on to the client any government increase in local VAT or other taxes that may be introduced after a reservation is made. Any additional charges payable on arrival are subject to local VAT at the prevailing rate in that country.
The liability of hotel-savings.com to the client for any loss, problem, damage or cancellation, whether arising out of negligence, breach of contract, error or any other cause shall not exceed the invoiced total value of the confirmation voucher supplied by hotel-savings.com.
